Bellarmine University Community Choir from Louisville, KY, Dr. S. Timothy Glasscock, Director, presents a free choral concert. Conductor Dr. Stephen Black will also play the historic 1868 Erben organ during the concert.
“This is a smaller, touring group of our Oratorio Society. The full ensemble performs mainly large masterworks with orchestra, but also breaks into smaller groups for a cappella sacred works and traveling. This group has performed in Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Spain, Italy, Ireland, and Scotland. It is composed of faculty, staff, students, and members of the Bellarmine University community. We are educators, nurses, church musicians, and people from wildly varied backgrounds. We come together out of a love of singing and travel, and we are extremely pleased to be singing in the Big Apple.”
